Our Mission

Not a clinic. Not a directory. A community.

Survivorship is not a subspecialty of oncology. It is its own multidisciplinary field, and the most fragmented moment in a patient's care. The Survivorship Society is a private, membership-based community for clinicians who treat the long arc of life after cancer, built to prove that. One place to connect, refer, message, learn, collaborate on research, and build the professional relationships that close the gaps survivors fall through.

Expedited Referrals

Hand a survivor to a clinician you know and trust, instantly, with full context, across the specialties survivorship requires.

Clinical Dialogue

Private, confidential channels for case discussion, second opinions, and the shared expertise late effects demand.

Webinars & Education

Curated sessions on survivorship medicine. Where members reach critical mass in a region, intimate dinners follow.

Practice Growth

Press, SEO, and marketing support through Doctoloop, built for independent clinicians who do this work.

Whole-person care · 360°

Every specialty survivorship touches.

Treatment ends; its effects do not. Survivors carry cardiac, endocrine, cognitive, sexual, physical, and emotional changes for years. Our clinicians span all of it, because no single specialty can hold survivorship alone.

The Founding Table

Built by clinicians, for clinicians.

The Survivorship Society was founded to give the people who care for survivors one trusted place to connect, collaborate, and simplify the relationships that improve patient care.

Founding seats are chosen for balance, not convenience. A deliberate mix of leaders from Memorial Sloan Kettering, NYU Langone, Weill Cornell, Columbia, Mount Sinai, and respected independent practices, so the Society reads as a citywide collaboration, not an extension of any one hospital system. Alongside clinicians, we're inviting a small number of patient advocates and survivor-leaders as ex officio advisors: not voting members, but present from day one, so the Society stays grounded in lived experience, not just clinical expertise.

Founder · The Survivorship Society & Doctoloop

The Survivorship Society began with a simple observation: the clinicians who care for people after cancer are working in isolation, separate practices, separate specialties, no easy way to connect, refer, or learn from one another. Doctoloop already connects patients to independent physicians. This community builds the professional network behind survivorship care.

Founding seats are open.

We are inviting a small founding cohort, one leading clinician per discipline, to shape the Society from the start: cardio-oncology, rehabilitation, endocrine and bone health, sexual health, nutrition, dermatology, oral medicine, and more, alongside a small number of patient advocates as founding advisors.
